This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information by Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City through its website located at ridgelineroofingnewyorkcity.com (the Site). Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City operates as a marketing and referral company: it advertises home services, receives service requests from visitors to the Site, and transmits those requests to independent local businesses that are solely responsible for performing any work. Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City does not itself perform home-service work of any kind.
By accessing the Site, submitting a service request, initiating a chat, or otherwise providing personal information, a visitor acknowledges that they have read and accepted the terms of this Policy in full. If a visitor does not agree, they should refrain from using the Site or submitting any personal information.
This Policy was last updated on June 29, 2026. Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City reserves the right to amend it at any time, and continued use of the Site following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
1. Affiliated Brands and Shared Service Providers
Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City is one of several home-service marketing brands operating under common ownership or management. That family of brands shares certain operational infrastructure, including call-answering services, scheduling and customer-relationship-management platforms, web-hosting environments, and marketing-technology vendors (collectively, Shared Providers).
Personal information collected through the Site may be disclosed to other brands within that affiliated group and to Shared Providers when doing so is necessary to route a request to the appropriate trade category or geographic service area, to provide billing and account support, to detect and prevent fraud, or to monitor and maintain service quality. Each affiliated brand and each Shared Provider that receives personal information is required to treat it in accordance with this Policy or a policy whose material terms are substantially equivalent to those set forth here.
This arrangement allows Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City to function efficiently across multiple markets and service categories while maintaining a consistent standard of data handling throughout the group.
2. Consent to Contact and Information Transfer
When a visitor submits a quote or service-request form, engages a chat function on the Site, calls a number listed on the Site, or otherwise transmits personal information to Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City, that visitor expressly consents to two distinct things.
First, the visitor consents to the transfer of their personal information - including contact details and project description - to the independent business that will receive and respond to the request, as further described in Section 7 of this Policy.
Second, the visitor consents to being contacted by Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City and by the independent business that receives the request, using any of the following channels: telephone calls, text messages (SMS/MMS), and electronic mail. Such contact may relate to the submitted request, scheduling, follow-up, or related home-service matters.
Providing this consent is entirely voluntary. Agreement to receive calls or text messages is not a precondition for obtaining any goods or services, and a visitor may choose to withdraw consent at any time by following the procedures described in the SMS section and the State Privacy Rights section of this Policy.
3. State Privacy Rights
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and Utah - as well as residents of other states that have enacted comparable consumer privacy legislation - are entitled to the rights described in this section with respect to their personal information.
Rights Available. Qualifying residents may exercise the following rights, subject to applicable law:
- Right to Know and Access: The right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City has collected about them, as well as the categories of recipients to whom that information has been disclosed.
- Right to Correction: The right to request that inaccurate personal information be corrected.
- Right to Deletion: The right to request that personal information be deleted, subject to exceptions permitted by law.

Important Disclosure Regarding Sale or Sharing. The core function of Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City is to receive a visitor’s service request and transmit the visitor’s contact and project information to the independent businesses that will respond to and quote on that request. Under certain state privacy laws, that transmission may constitute a sale or a share of personal information. Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City does not disclaim that characterization. How to Exercise These Rights. Requests to exercise any of the rights listed above must be submitted through the contact page. An authorized agent may submit a request on a consumer’s behalf provided that the agent supplies adequate written proof of authorization. Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City may require verification of the requesting consumer’s identity before fulfilling any request, and will respond within the timeframe prescribed by the applicable state law. If Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City is unable to fulfill a request in whole or in part, the consumer will be informed of the reason for the denial.
Appeals. If a rights request is denied, the consumer may appeal that decision by replying directly to the denial communication or by submitting a new inquiry through the contact page and indicating that it is an appeal. Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City will communicate the outcome of the appeal and any available further remedies within the time period required by applicable law.
Non-Discrimination. Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City does not deny service, alter pricing, diminish service quality, or impose any other penalty on any person for exercising the privacy rights described in this section.
4. Data Retention
Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. In practice, this means retaining information long enough to coordinate and transmit a service request, to address any follow-up questions or disputes arising from that referral, and to satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, or record-keeping obligations.
Once personal information is no longer needed for those purposes, Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City will delete or de-identify it in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable law. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and the legal obligations associated with it.
5. Information Collected
Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City collects personal information in two principal ways: directly from visitors when they interact with the Site, and automatically as visitors navigate its pages.
When a visitor requests a quote, submits a service inquiry, initiates a chat session, or calls a phone number published on the Site, Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City may collect some or all of the following: the visitor’s full name; a mailing or service address indicating where work is to be performed; one or more phone numbers; an email address; and a description of the home-service project or problem the visitor wants addressed, which may include details about property type, scope of work, preferred timing, or budget range.
In addition, the Site automatically collects certain technical information as part of ordinary web operations. This includes data about which pages were visited and in what sequence, the type and version of the browser in use, the general geographic area suggested by the visitor’s IP address, and similar standard web-analytics data. This technical data is used to operate and improve the Site and is not itself used to identify individual visitors for the purpose of fulfilling service requests.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information
The primary reason Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City collects a visitor’s contact and project details is to pass that information along to the local contractors, tradespeople, and home-service businesses in its referral network that are positioned to respond to, quote on, and perform the requested work. Those businesses operate entirely independently of Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City; they set their own prices, employ their own personnel, and make their own decisions about how and when to contact a prospective customer. Once a visitor’s information has been transmitted to one or more of those businesses, that business may reach out to the visitor directly by phone, text, or email.
Beyond that core referral function, Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City may also disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
- To affiliated brands and shared service providers as described in Section 1 of this Policy;
- To vendors and technology providers engaged to operate the Site, process payments, or deliver customer-support functions, each of whom is contractually restricted from using the information for any purpose beyond performing those services;
- In response to a valid legal process, court order, or governmental demand, or when disclosure is otherwise required by law;
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other business transfer, in which case any successor entity will be notified of its obligations under this Policy.
Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City does not sell or share aggregate, de-identified analytics data derived from Site usage.
7. Security of Personal Information
Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards that are consistent with reasonable industry practice to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include, among others, encrypted data transmission and access controls on internal systems that store personal information.
Nevertheless, no security measure or combination of measures can guarantee absolute protection against all possible threats. Transmission of information over the internet inherently carries risks that are outside the control of Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City. 8. Text Message (SMS) Disclosure
By submitting a service request or otherwise providing a phone number through the Site, a visitor consents to receive text messages (SMS and MMS) from two potential senders: (1) Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City itself, and (2) the independent business or professional that receives and handles the visitor’s referral. Either or both senders may use an automatic telephone dialing system to place calls or send texts, and messages may be delivered using a prerecorded or artificial voice.
Consent to receive such calls or text messages is not a requirement for purchasing any goods or services. A visitor may choose not to consent and may still seek home-service referrals through other means.
The number of messages a visitor receives will vary - it depends on the nature of the service request, how many businesses respond, and the communications needed to coordinate the referral. There is no fixed message frequency.
Standard message and data rates charged by the visitor’s mobile carrier may apply to any text message sent or received in connection with a service request. Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City is not responsible for any such carrier charges.
To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP to any text message sent in connection with a request. To request assistance, reply HELP. Please be aware that opting out of text messages by sending STOP will discontinue SMS communications but will not necessarily terminate other forms of contact (such as telephone calls or emails) related to an open or pending service request unless the visitor separately requests that those communications cease.
Visitors who wish to opt out of text messaging or who have questions about SMS communications may also submit a request through the contact page.
9. Contact and Privacy Requests
Questions, comments, or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy - including requests to exercise any of the state privacy rights described in Section 3, requests to opt out of the sharing of personal information, or any other privacy-related inquiry - should be directed to Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City through the contact page.
Ridgeline Roofing Co. of New York City will make reasonable efforts to respond to all legitimate inquiries in a timely manner and in accordance with the requirements of applicable law. Providing as much detail as possible about the nature of the request will help ensure a prompt and accurate response.
